This project is sort of the result of asking myself "What if I made Among Us as a single player action / stealth platformer?". The game exists largely as a prototype of that idea, and is a quick but fun play that can be played with mouse and keyboard or gamepad.

also, add a sabotage option or something

I want to see a speedrun below 30 seconds

As the WR holder, I'll see what I can do, but dusting off my throne will be a difficult job. I'm rusty.

So, I got 30 seconds. That is the new WR, beating my old one by 1 second. But it is not the target.

Sub 30 record fresh from the oven

how

I can only do ~1:00

Can you add w as a jump key?

And the ability to disable music and sound pls

SUS

I believe I've reached the human limit, 31 seconds.

I hit 29 seconds, L bozo RIP.

Is this what speedrunning feels like? I'm going to get that 38 seconds mark my words.

Edit: I DID IT, I got 38 seconds.

Edit 2:HELL YEAH WRRRRRR, 34 SECONDS!

Edit 3:Whoever is reading this being like:"Why is this guy so happy it's a game nobody knows about and nobody tried hard enough to get a world record" Well, you're right, but just play along with it, OR you could try to beat my score (which you probably will because the previous best time guy didn't even try, I just took it as a challenge and went for it, if he comes back and finds a challenge I'm probably getting wiped).

I love this! I’m likely redoing this game in 3D later on this year. Any feedback from a speedrunning perspective would be appreciated!

3D? How would that work, that would be very interesting!

So about the speedrunning perspective, I don't have that much to talk about since it's not that hard to speedrun the game with the use of three mechanics:
1.You only need to transform once
2.You don't necessarily need to be sneaky in some situations
3.You only need to open one door

In case that's not what you meant, as a person that speedran this game I used two glitches: the wall collider glitch, and the button-stalemate glitch.

And if that's also not what you meant.....I might need to read your comment again.

Also I know you based this on Among us, but it is almost identical to a movie Among us was based on/unintentially similar to.

This game was super fun

didnt have a video of my best time (38 seconds)  but heres a crappy recording of me getting 44 seconds

(+3)

new best time of 38 seconds!!  35 if you dont count time it took for victory screen to appear

(+1)

what your guys lowest time for beating the game?

just got 47 seconds (44 if you dont count the time it took for the victory screen to appear)

That’s awesome! My best in casual testing was 1:06 including the time for the victory screen. What was your route?

(-1)

i dont have a way to record atm, might upload a run of me doing it later today or tomorrow

Hiii, I've made a video about the game and wanted to share some feedback about it, hopefully it is useful to you ^^

-The concept is good.

-The gameplay mechanics are good and fit well the theme of the game.

-The character gets stuck into some walls randomly.

Hopefully this is useful to you :D, also if you could subscribe that would help me a lot :)

Regards

(-1)

Yeah, if I decided to take more time on the project / prototype, I’d probably manually do every collider on the walls instead of relying on auto-generated ones.

I view this as a bit of a prototype / concept for maybe a 3D version of it.

Thanks for the feedback and the video!

(-1)

You are welcome :),  a 3D version could be interesting ^^
